DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANT - DALLAS OFFICE The Development Assistant is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support of the Development Department and the Director of Strategic Partnerships; maintain a flow of office activities by answering multiple line phone system; relay messages and respond to internal and external requests; maintain all donor records; prepare and send out all donor receipts.

Committed believer in Jesus Christ and must be willing to sign Christian Doctrinal statement. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skill required. Knowledge of proper office and telephone protocol. Computer literate with the ability to learn new software applications. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills. Visibility of work requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information. Must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher and Access. Knowledge of E-Tapestry, InDesign or Adobe Illustrator a plus. Knowledge of data entry, database development and report writing a plus. Requires a willingness to work a flexible schedule with occasional evening and weekend work.

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK The Accounts Payable Clerk has primary responsibility for processing all accounts payable transactions for the business affairs of Sky Ranches, Inc and affiliated organizations. The major areas of responsibility include maintenance of the purchase order process, processing all vendor invoices in accordance with vendor terms, consistent coding and descriptions of accounts payable transactions, verification of appropriate approvals on PO’s, invoices and checks, maintaining organized and accurate vendor files and reconciliation of monthly vendor statements. The Accounts Payable Clerk supports the organization’s mission, vision and values by exhibiting excellence, competence, accountability and ownership.

Qualified candidates should possess the following: Be a committed believer in Jesus Christ; must have at least 2 years of accounts payable experience in fast paced environment. High School Diploma required, Bachelor degree desired; excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; must have excellent time management skills and be detail oriented; self-starter with a “can do” confident attitude, with the ability to multi-task; punctual and timely attendance; ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel required. Duties require professional verbal and written communication skills.

LEGACY FELLOWSHIP program is accepting applications from recent college graduates interested in learning more about leadership within the Christian Camping environment. This program is designed to offer individuals the opportunity to spend (1) full-year living, learning and experiencing leadership, excellence, character, and service in a Christian Camp setting. All Legacy Fellows will reside on camp and will work hands-on in teaching, program development, youth ministry, and service, while being taken through an extensive Leadership training course lead by Sky staff. OPERATIONS ASSISTANT - If you have ever had an interest in learning more about Christian Camping Ministry (while actually getting paid!), Sky Ranch has incredible opportunity in the Retreats and Programs Department beginning late summer / fall of 2009.

The Retreats and Programs Department at Sky Ranch offers a paid internship to undergraduates and recent college graduates for a term of one semester or one year. This internship is designed to be a journey into self-discovery, personal sanctification, and servant hood. We will look intently at how God has uniquely wired you, what your strengths, gifts, passions, and unique abilities are and explore how to use them all effectively in ministry. We will dive into personal sanctification, prayerfully becoming more and more like Jesus everyday, as we study and apply what it means to love, live, and lead as Jesus Christ did. Finally, we will journey into servanthood as we faithfully serve the ministry of Sky Ranch by facilitating an environment where the Holy Spirit can come and work on the hearts and lives of all who enter our gates.

While we work hard, we also play hard! In addition to working here at Sky Ranch Van, we will take several trips to other camps in Texas, Arkansas, and Missouri to look at how other camps have experienced success and to gain additional prospective on Christian Camping.
